Doodle: Nap time with Dad

"I can't help but smile whenever I see this photo. You were just so small, and to feel your tiny heartbeat against mine as you slept in my arms gave me this sense of pride and joy. You made me feel like I was a hero; like I could protect you from all the evils of the world and preserve your innocence. But... you've grown so much, I didn't think you needed me anymore. I guess I didn't see that despite you blossoming into a strong, young man, you were still that pup who'd smile whenever he saw me, holding his little arms up for a hug, or to carry you on my shoulders. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and correct my mistakes, but we both know that's impossible. Just know that I still love you with all my heart, and I want nothing but for you to be happy. Always remember your worth as a person; never hesitate to act when the time comes.  I love you, Wolf. Happy birthday."

...Just a quick doodle of Wolf and Lupus in their younger days. I guess Lupus and Wolf had the entire afternoon to themselves, and Velvela came home to this, and took a picture. Still recovering from an artistic burnout, so please bear with me. I really enjoy drawing/writing stories that revolve around characters and their families. What about you guys? Guile would've been proud XD
